Have you seen all the Ironman and Avenger movies? Pretty sure you haven't if that is your description of Tony Stark.Originally posted by Green Monstah View PostI’ve cried at the death of purely fictitious characters. I did cry over Black Widow too, but I wasn't lamenting her derriere. I liked her character and she went in a sacrificial way, much like Tony Stark did. Also I would have cried for beer gut Thor had he died.

Spent the last two days in the air so I watched a lot of movies.
Always Be My Maybe: Really liked it. I have a crush on Ali Wong. Also Keanu kills it and is worth the watch for his 15 minutes. Same with Randall Park's music.
Mid90s: I've been really into skating lately. This was a Jonah Hill written and directed feature. Kind of his love letter to growing up skating the Santa Monica courthouse. It's not for everyone but I enjoyed it because I could relate. Loved seeing the old skate brands.
Shoplifters: Loved this movie.
The Upside: Meh. Ok. Not great. Not awful.
Fighting With My Family: Same as above. Though I thought it was pretty funny in the credits that the real mom and dad seem to have been portrayed rather accurately.
And last week I took the kids to Detective Pikachu: I expected to nap but was mildly entertained as much as a Pokemon movie could entertain me. Kids loved it
John Wick 3: Pure violence and gun porn. I loved it. Still loved the 1st one best. This was on par with the 2nd."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

I liked this too. I actually watched it by myself (couldn't get my wife to watch a rom com with me??). I have a crush on Ali Wong too, although its weird to see her not pregnant.Originally posted by Surfah View PostSpent the last two days in the air so I watched a lot of movies.

I liked Mid90s, although, I have to be honest, I am really having trouble seeing Jonah Hill skateboarding with any level of proficiency.
I had friends who had older siblings just like the main character's big brother. I think I had some mild PTSD watching him.Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.

Yeah what's up with that? Me too.Originally posted by Surfah View PostI have a crush on Ali Wong.
Mid 90s is great- reminded me of Kids (awful movie, horrifying content, but maaaan does it take you right back square into the 90s). This was like Kids except with decent, relatable protagonists."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! I'll make his whole brand go under,"

Hereditary: I think this has been discussed quite a bit. Glad I watched it. Very creepy.
It comes at night: really liked this. I heard it didn’t do well because the marketing made it look like a monster would come out of the woods. Well, there is a monster, and it’s in all of us. Excellent movie.
You were never really here: good movie, not great, but Joaquin Phoenix is fantastic in this.I intend to live forever.
So far, so good.

Reservoir Dogs. Hadn't seen it before. Pretty entertaining. Also watched The Russia House the other day. It was too long and the payoff was not worth it nor particularly believable."I think it was King Benjamin who said 'you sorry ass shitbags who have no skills that the market values also have an obligation to have the attitude that if one day you do in fact win the PowerBall Lottery that you will then impart of your substance to those without.'"

I watched the Dark Phoenix movie. It was ok. Pretty fun X-Men action sequences and I like Michael Fassbender as Magneto. This is Fox's last X Men ever since Disney acquired Fox and will be rebooting the franchise into the Marvel Cineverse."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch!
