Donut Jr. is getting into golf, and on Saturday asked if we could watch Happy Gilmore. He's heard about it, and he's even pretty good at doing the walk up shuffle approach to hit driver. But he had never seen it. So while the girls were out shopping Saturday night, we downloaded and fired up the TBS app (didn't know that was a thing, but, thanks JustWatch for pointing me there) and watched it. Lots of giggles from him (puberty in full bloom, so his voice is in prime cracking stage right now, which I am thoroughly enjoying), but he didn't like it as much as I thought he would. In fairness, it wasn't as entertaining as I remembered, either. DJ called it "Napoleon Dynamite for golfers." Not a perfect comparison, but I can see some similarities.

Maybe not quite a sinner so much as a ravenous consumer of extreme content. He practically just talks to himself for pages at a time in the Faces of Death thread.

Whoops a daisy. Now you're on the no-fly list. Sometimes we learn the hard way.

Also the casting was incredibly well done. It looked just like him.

    Emily the Criminal.

Aubrey Plaza plays a down-on-her-luck woman who can’t dig herself out of student loans, a bad decision resulting in a battery charge, and just a crappy life. She is offered a chance to earn some money quickly, in a “harmless” but illegal way. Things quickly spiral an in a shorter amount of time she has become a legitimate criminal. Breaking Bad Lite, except without the drugs.

Plaza was very good. The story was tight, pacing was a little slower, and it’s not a gigantic transformation, but it was enjoyable.
