    New Moon waning

My wife and daughter and their friends went ot the midnight New Moon screening last night. THey were underwhelmed. My wife was sorry she went at all. My daughter was more forgiving, and noted that the book on which the movie was based was her least favorite in the series (pelagius? what do you say about htat?). Maybe the bloom is off the twilight rose?
    PLesa excuse the tpyos.

I agree with your daughter that New Moon is the worst or least best of the series. It is significantly worse than the others. Your daughter is clearly an intelligent young lady. I am pretty sure that is the only reasonable inference that can be made here.

Facebook status of my wife (she saw the midnight show last night):

New Moon makes twilight look like it was made by a high school film class. Very happy. IMO Edward is wrong. He is suppose to be ripped not gross and hairy.

The betting on whether it will gross 90 million is still up at $75 for a $100 payoff ... looks like that price ticked down a little in the last few days but I would say the rose is probably still blooming.

New Moon was my least favorite of the series. If the movie is any better than the first, it will be because of an increased budget and not because it has a better story.

As the official board gibbon you should have title the thread "The waning gibbous of twilight." It could have been a great moment for self promotion.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

Well you're also the only board Gibbon but nobody outside of this place needs to know that.

well, it does seem rather easy to make something "Official" here on CUF ... So personally I think you may be overstating the honor.

New Moon was my least favorite of the series as well. I have been getting mixed reviews via my facebook friends status'. I think this is one I'll catch when the hype dies down, who could get tickets before then anyway?

No, I got awakened to tons of giggling in the front room at 3 am that lasted until 4:45 am.

I just got back. Here is my review.

Could have used more wolves, more fighting, and less dialogue except by this chick.

                            She was funny.

I still don't get what girls see in this Edward guy. He is pail, hairy, and has funny teeth.

Seriously though the characters had a DTR like every 10 minutes. It got really annoying. I think they should have made the movie with less drama. They should have embraced the ridiculousness of the premise, and had more fun with it.
