Probst's live tweets are the best part of this season, and they're not on TV. Why they didn't take out Jacqulyn when they couldn't get Jon last vote is beyond me.

      • If they eventually had Probst do a Survivor tell-all book, going through what really happened in every season, I would read that book.

I often can't believe that people respond to his questions. They will spill way too much. People loved to be asked about themselves, but I often wonder if they keep them there until they dish.

          • Season 30 kicked off last night. White Collar vs. Blue Collar vs. No Collar.

It'll be interesting to see who thrives in this particular war of the worlds.

And yes, people still watch this show. I am people, and I watch this show.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I missed the first bit leading up to the first challenge. Who are the "no collar" folks? Entrepreneurs? Students? Housewives? Any/all of the above?

Pygmies. My money is on them, BTW.

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

                  Free spirits.

A coconut vendor. A law student who wants to do pro bono work. A lady who is deaf (can't remember her vocation), a sailing instructor. The dude who had the YouTube video singing 80s songs at a gas station, and I can't remember what the Chris guys does, but maybe some sort of design job?

I'm pretty down on the division of labor though. The professor/consultant seems more no collar than white collar.

                      • There's no one interesting left this season. None of them deserve to win, and it's the first time in 30 seasons where I don't care. Boring Boring Boring people with small minds.

I'm a few seasons behind, but easily the worst season I've ever watched.

Cheer for the cow girl from Roy!

I think the concept for this season has failed miserably, that's for sure. I'm pulling for Mike.

                              Mike wins.

The finale had a few interesting moments...mostly Dan trying to defend his derogatory comments about women, and Shirin somehow not understanding what an apology is.

Next season will be second chance contestants...here's hoping it works.

Boring season, actually fell asleep watching the finale while the wife fastforwarded most of it. Niether of us like any of the finalists.

That Dan guy is a huge blowhard. Shirine is odd, but in a benign way. Will got to see what a jerk he was on live TV, and offers an apology 5-6 motnhs after he bizarrely blew up on Shirine. Will's wife in the studio audience started yelling at Shirine as Shirine mulled over accepting the apology. All in all, a bunch of class acts.

The next season "second Chance" seems lame. I don't remember most of these people. Hopefully they surprise me. But no matter what I think, I will still watch because watching Survivor is our thing, it's what we do on Wed. nights.
