  • It would have been a travesty if Mike hadn't won. While the season wasn't the best I enjoyed watching Mike dominate.

    • I didn't love the finale, but liked the reunion show. Loved that Probst wasn't going to let Dan off the hook. I thought Will handled the situation perfectly. Shirin ended up looking like the ass. I'm optimistic about next season. I don't remember a lot of the people, but I think they have a fantastic mix of personalities.

        • Episode 37:8 tribal council was the best tribal I’ve ever seen.

I love a good blindside. Carl had no clue... I think Christian is doing well... and that idol challenge was the best one in years... 5 hours and 50 minutes... awesome, especially when Christian started talking to Probst.

That was episode 9, I think, but also solid. The previous episode is the one I'm referencing (where the advantages were played).

              • blows my mind that people still watch that show. not begrudging any of you who do watch it, just shocking after all these years that it has enough viewers to stay on the air.

Yeah, I think it has a loyal following just large enough to keep the show profitable. All of the in-game corporate sponsorships are gone (and have been for some time), but I hope it stays on air.

My wife still watches it pretty religiously, which means I see it a fair amount. Don't think I've seen the episode in question, though.

It's a family tradition for us. It's the only show we watch as a family. I don't think I'd watch it on my own... but as a family activity with pop-corn and snacks... it's a pretty fun time.

                          • This winners edition is really fun. Too bad that Ethan got voted out. Rob's on the block unless he and Parv can scramble a new alliance.

I know, right? Rob should be a big target, given his history with the game. It's like they're deferential to him, to a fault.
