  • Not my shot, but I think this is a really cool image:

    • I came across this little guy while biking yesterday. The trail is about 12 inches wide, so the snake is at least 3 feet long (the tail goes beyond the small tree to the left). I walked the bike around it, and other than flicking its tongue, it didn't move one bit.

Not pictured: the rest of my screaming three year old who couldn't monkey and banana his feet out of the holes in the tube for the life of him.

And a weird lady with a stroller cat.

              • My son took these photos with his iPhone on a scout campout at Lake Mead this weekend. I thought they were pretty good for a kid with zero training or instruction in photography.

My favorite of those is the tunnel. Pretty cool texture on the rock.

Nice catch. Hummingbirds always look pissed off.

I always enjoy your pictures. You should post more of them.

Here's the next stop. Mount Rushmore. 3 image panoramic. Each of the 3 images that were stitched were also HDR merged from 3 images. (Total of 9 images). Downsized for facebook doesn't do it justice.

30 second exposure in the late evening and converted to black and white using Silver Efex Pro (free from Google).
