My 9 year old left his 1 year old Ipod mini in his pants pocket, which then went through the washer and dryer. I bought it from Costco, I think. They should replace it as defective right. No, I don't have the chutzpah to actually take it back.

Kid leaves iPod in pants pocket to be washed: Art gets him a new one.

No he isn't getting a new one, until he can pay for it, or at least most of it. This is my son who actually likes to work (volunteers to mow lawn, shovel driveway) and saves all his money, and I know it was an accident on his part. I could get mad at him, but that still isn't going to make the Ipod work. Now my older boy who broke the TV that is a whole different discussion.Originally posted by JohnnyLingo View PostMan, you're a nice parent.

Well no, I'm not suggesting you should be angry with iPod kid... but sometimes when stuff breaks due to negligence, it's just gone.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostNo he isn't getting a new one, until he can pay for it, or at least most of it. A couple of months ago or so my local Costco had a special on Colossimo's sausages. It was one of those things where they invite the vendor in to try and sell their stuff. For those that don't know, Colossimo's is out of Sandy and have been around for a long time. They had a restaurant/factory on 700 East and about 8900 South for a while, but it looked like it had either closed or moved last time I was up there.
Anyway, I bought about 36 sausages (a jalapeno one and an english banger variety) and froze most of them. These things are reallllly good. I just took some of them out of the freezer yesterday and they're just as good as when I bought them. I hope they continue to sell them down here.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. I ride by this several times a week during the summer. You've probably visited Utah more recently than I've ridden my bicycle, but I'm pretty sure it's still open/there.Originally posted by falafel View PostFor those that don't know, Colossimo's is out of Sandy and have been around for a long time. So I have an old XBox 360 (original when they first came out old) that finally gave up the ghost after multiple RROD repairs. I bought a replacement at Costco. But I got to thinking, why shouldn't I just put the old one in the new one's box and take it back to Costco? I mean, it's their policy, right? And it's built into their business model!"It's true that everything happens for a reason. Just remember that sometimes that reason is that you did something really, really, stupid."

Better yet, why not just stuff the box with old fruit and sell your other xbox on craigslist? You may not have grasped the concept after all.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Was the origional one (see broken) purchased from Costco?Originally posted by FMCoug View PostSo I have an old XBox 360 (original when they first came out old) that finally gave up the ghost after multiple RROD repairs. If so, according to some posters, you should happily return it. Hence that awesome return policy.
