  • What value, aside from green color, does the kale and chia add to the chip? Is the manufacturer just preying on gullible people that pay a premium price for stuff if there are a few "healthy" ingredients on the label?

It has kale it is healthy. You can now eat all the tortilla chips that you want and it is healthy. I'm going to buy some today.

      • I heard a report earlier this week on a Chia seed recall after several people came down with an illness. I only caught a snippet but I would imagine it was a manufacturer defect and not a risk of eating the stuff, right? I myself have never eaten chia and while I would love a thicker head of hair, I have tasted kale and if it's anything close, no thanks.

Especially if every chip in there has a dollop of cream cheese on it. After crunching Katy's numbers, maybe people just don't want to carb load on regular tortilla chips?

They taste good. No idea on the nutritional value. They're snack chips, after all.
