    Whoa. That is terrible news.

I will make you feel better. The closest Sam's Club to me is an hour away. The closest Costco is almost two hours away.

We're in the same boat. Closest Sam's is in Florence, SC (45 mins). Closest Costco is split between Matthews, NC (1 hr 30 mins) or Myrtle Beach, SC (1 hr 45 mins).

                  • I bought some non-iron, slim fit, traditional/ "open" collar Kirkland dress shirts at Costco.

                    I am pleased.

They had a bunch of patterns but also plain white.

I about passed out when I saw them. I think their dress shirts are fine but I don't like button down collars at all.

I also don't like how baggy traditional fit shirts are on me.

It was a win at Costco.

                    • Posted this in the "RICE" thread, but I thought I'd post it here.

I saw Zojirushi rice cookers at the SL Costco for $89. They were shown as being 5.5 cup capacity.

                      • That is insanely cheap for a zojirushi. is it the neuro fuzzy?

I didn't stop to check it out. I was surprised to see a Zoji at "the 'Co" ( ) and only noted the price and capacity.

The Co sells Tiger rice cookers, which are Zojirushi knockoffs that I assume are pretty decent quality Didnt know they are now selling the real thing. 89 bones is a freaking good deal if it is a neuro fuzzy. In fact, it is cheaper to buy 2 of them to have 11 cups white capacity than it would be to buy a large zojirushi for $350.

5.5 cups white is usually a little over half of that for brown. A nice cooker for a small family that eats rice every so often.

                            • Costco doesn't sell down pillows anymore, at least I haven't seen them during the spring. Hopefully it's just a seasonal thing and they start selling them in the fall or winter. Also, they're not selling down comforters, which is certainly more understandable this time of year.

They also downgraded the Sealy mattress they always carry. Same price, not as good of a mattress. Glad I picked one up in February.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

                              • Do any of you that live outside of Utah see the non-button-down, non-iron, slim fit dress shirt in your Costco regularly?

It seems completely odd to me that they had them at the Ogden location but n not Bountiful or even SLC.

I've bemoaned for years the fact that they didn't carry traditional collar shirts and was happy to see them, especially in a slim fit, but I am bummed thinking it was a once in a lifetime thing.
