The one you linked is IH +Micom. Does anyone have one of the new pressurized models? How much more technology can go into cooking a grain of rice?
    10 C induction. Not pressurized.

I just went and bought one. That is the Rice cooker that they had at the Orem Costco. I guess I will lack the fancier features like the IH and pressurized cooking, but it is still a huge upgrade.

          • Our dogs love this stuff. (The younger pooch tends to get a little porky, so we give them both the weight loss food. But they love all Costco dog food.)

                Sure looks tasty!
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

                • Anyone bought the sleeping pills at Costco called Sleep Aid. Just had a client swear buy them. I need a good sleeping pill. Lunesta and Ambien don't work.

Yeah - We buy it and put it into a crockpot stew. Prepared right, it's pretty good stuff, like a pot roast in a can.

                        • I just noticed these today. Not sure how long they have sold them.....St Louis Ribs that come pre-dry rubbed. They charge almost a dollar extra per pound to put rub on the ribs for you.

I'm sure it's just me, but it sure seems like there are fewer and fewer good deals at "the 'Co" as time goes on.

Your example reminded me of this.

I wonder if it's worth the drive and the membership anymore. I'm not an accountant or I'd put it to a spreadsheet and find out.

Yeah, I saw those Thursday night, between the regular, cryovac St. Louis styles and the baby backs. I wondered who would be willing to prepare uncooked ribs (as opposed to the cooked, sauced ones that people just reheat) but wouldn't want to go to the trouble of applying a rub.
