Just bought a RAM 1500 but test drove the Tundra, F150, Avalanche, Silverado & Titan 2or 3 times each.

My personal bias is that the Tundra felt like a yacht on a windy day on the ocean....just didn't feel like I had good control of it. Has a really nice interior though.

At the end of the day, my truck is essentially a daily driver that will do little hauling or towing, so preferred the coil rear suspension to the leaf rear suspension trucks.

Gotta try them all and go with personal preference, of course.

I also have a camper mode, which it's in today, that has a bed, desk, chair, and lush carpet. My wife and I are in Boise helping her mother, and I'm in the van as we speak sitting in my office chair at a desk with my laptop. I slept in the van last night as it's preferable to sleeping with my wife in a tiny bed and a hot stuffy room. I've only got 91,000 on it, but I'm hoping to get 400+ out of it over the life of the rig.

were I to ever buy a van, that would be it

        Test drove a '11 Limited.

        Thing was freaking sick.

I was shocked at how much space is in that thing. Literally fits 4 large humans very comfortably.

        Too pricey.

I'm in the market for a new pickup. I really miss having one since, my son totaled my Tacoma a few years ago. I've just started researching and kicking the proverbial tires. Wow have trucks gotten expensive. I don't really need to tow or haul much, thankfully, It would be very easy to drop 100K on a a loaded full ton. The prices seem insane to me.

When people give me grief about my Porsche Macan I ask them how much they paid for their last pickup. Shuts them right up.

Wow. Looks like the Macan starts at $57,500 this year. I would have guessed more.

Wait a minute, the Colorado is Chevy's baby pickup. That doesn't count.
