Walking Dead was pretty good this season. I think the writers are getting better.

And fantasy football is a fun thing to do with friends/kids. That's your deputy though, making up silly rules as he goes along.

No kidding. I really feel sorry for those dudes who walk their dog and have to pick up their dog's crap. Are there many things that are more emasculating than leaning down with a plastic bag wrapped around your hand to pick up a corkie's steaming pile of crap?

Yep this was a good Walking Dead half season. Definitely my favorite since season 1.

              • I'm getting pretty sick of vendors that use OnTrac to ship in the western U.S. I specifically waited at my office for a package last night, only to get a text saying that the driver couldn't deliver the package because the office was close. The only problem is that it wasn't, and I was waiting in the lobby. No one ever came. After several calls last night, and after being lied to by their reps, I've about had it. After googling OnTrac, I saw that I'm not alone, and there's a pretty decent chance I won't even get the package. Great. Has anyone else had problems with them being late or lying?
                Not that, sickos.

They are horrible. I've had multiple problems with them and been lied to by them several times.

Ordered $1200 worth of computer parts from New Egg a couple years ago and had no choice but to ship with On Trac.

The tracking information showed my stuff arrived at the On Trac center, and sat there for three days. Finally I called On Trac and they told me they had lost my shipment and could not find it.

So I called New Egg and asked them what they could do about it. New Egg told me to wait four to six weeks while they figured out what had happened, and in the meantime I was out my $1200. I told them to screw off and refund my money, and ordered all the same stuff off of Amazon. Everything arrived three days later with no issues.

On Trac can die in a fire.

I don't know how they're still operating when they're so bad at the one job they have to do. I'm fasting today for the package to actually be delivered.

                      • I took my niece to Ikea to shop for furniture for her first post-college apartment yesterday. Some random observations:

                        1. My tracker says we took 4000 steps on the first floor alone. Is there anything as meandering as an Ikea store walk?
                        2. There are sure a lot of metrosexual men there shopping with their wives.
                        3. They have a new product called the Holmo; I wonder if Tommy is swedish?

                        • Why does tapatalk still show me a happy holidays wallpaper when I open it in my phone? And why does the image above the cougar stadium forum page show a football player in a red jersey? It's getting annoying.
                          PLesa excuse the tpyos.

I noticed that too and thought it was odd, although kind of funny. The Utah by 5 Tapatalk site has a very small photo of RES, surrounded by random photos that seem unrelated to the site. The latest Tapatalk upgrade is a little weird.

                              • Doesn't really deserve a thread, but I thought this was interesting:

                                http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/...will-pull-book

Nearly five years after it hit best-seller lists, a book that purported to be a 6-year-old boy's story of visiting angels and heaven after being injured in a bad car crash is being pulled from shelves. The young man at the center of The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven, Alex Malarkey, said this week that the story was all made up.
Turns out that Alex Malarkey's story is a bunch of malarkey!
