      • I love this recent comic. The trend he lampoons here drives me crazy. Most writers these days are just lazy.

The title text is good too. "1916: 'PHYSICIST DAD' TURNS HIS ATTENTION TO GRAVITY, AND YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT HE FINDS. [PICS] [NSFW]"

You should link to the page as well http://xkcd.com/1283/, the tooltip text is often the best part of the comic.

                • Last year's Sexual Harassment training has become yesterday's Bullying Class. And will become today's Data Security course (SSAE!) and tomorrow's Global Anti Corruption training.

Whoever teaches that course is quite the polymath.

                      Not that, sickos.

Maybe someone is punishing you for coming to Charlotte without paying a visit to the local CS luminaries. Not that you are the first one.

                        • I just saw this bumped thread. Hopefully thesaint258 had enough time to walk around that area of Charlotte that is boring.

Hey I offered. You guys are apparently too good for me. When the conference was in. Seattle, MG, SU, and WS had lunch with me.

Had I been aware that my layover would have become five and a half hours, I would have set something up. There's nothing I love more than wandering around an airport for hours. Also, as an update, 8:30 was optimistic.

I had plenty of time to walk around the entire airport and sample a few of the restaurants, including both Cinnabons (the one in Terminal A is better).

                              • My kids have no idea how fortunate they are to live in this age. Both my daughters (one in HS chemistry and the other in college chemistry) use this site for a reference:

Amazing. I might have been able to pull off that 'A' in Chem 105-106 if I had this website
