Announcers now making excuses for her, claiming maybe she doesn't have her best stuff because of all the media distractions. Who could have seen that coming?
Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

Mo'ne gets pulled. Too bad, because Vegas is going to hammer this little lefty Philly just put in.

And she lasted 2-1/3 innings. That's an 11.58 ERA for those keeping score at home.

I love that both teams are wearing basically the same color. That makes sense.

Questionable gamble there. Vegas is going to tear this pitcher up. Kinda silly to be sending runners on close plays and trying to manufacture runs when all you're doing is hitting everything.

Yep. I don't mind aggressive baserunning, but it kills you if you aren't successful.

Ugh. LL strike zone is ridiculously huge.

Lefty for Nevada throwing 74. Kid is a horse.

                    Nevada's catcher struggling a bit.

Are these kids 12 or 13? In the comp league around here there is a kid from Idaho who is now 14, but was clocked at 82 when he was 13. A kid on a team in SLC was clocked at 84 a year ago when he was 13. Amazing how hard some of these kids can throw with control.

Despite Vegas winning 8-1, the story is all Mo'ne. Based on this article, you would have thought she played well.

It is a great story. She is a female and she shut down the boys. This is far more impressive than Billy Jean close to her prime beating some old man. I hope this young lady gets at least as much mileage out of this as Bill Jean did.

She had a really bad error at first on a groundball. That happens, but her demeanor after the error wasn't good, no effort to revocer the ball or cover a bag. Just put her hands up in the air.

But the girl can pitch, even if she was a little off yesterday.
