I'm just getting started. I think this will dramatically help my battery life.

    What profiles do you use?
I have wanted to mess with Tasker but never have. Lots of people complain about the GUI. Is it as bad as people make it out to be? I am certain I'd have no issues with it, just curious. I need to re-root my phone.

I tried it, and it didn't seem like it worked, ie didn't do what I thought I was configuring it to do. Probably user error, but I gave up and uninstalled it.

It can be a bugger to setup, it is not for the faint of heart. I went through the manual and was able to figure it out for simple procedures, such as shut off my WiFi when my phone is outside a certain radius.

I want to build better code so that it will auto check on the weekends to see if I'm near a bluetooth device so that it doesn't drain my battery on the weekends.

My power is currently 80 percent, whereas it is normally around 30 percent at this point in time during the day.

I can share some of my profiles on here, or give you step by steps for things you want to do.

dc, any thoughts on the Note 2? I'm thinking about getting one.

I had a patient in my office last week with one...I was envious. I haven't spent any time looking at the specs, but the screen size was just killer.
