Am I a bad person if the voice in my head read each paragraph in a higher and higher pitch?

Although these are both excellent and apt responses, my CUF calling, advanced years, and lack of wit compel me to respond somewhat more seriously....

SoP, I’m sorry you feel you were treated shamefully. A key element of one’s suitability for this board is the ability to slough off most any slight, whether real or perceived, intended or unintended, and move on. Those who choose to let things on this or any internet board bother them, causing them to stew or vent for weeks, months or years, or who regard anything done by Lebowski as “heavy handed”, haven’t dialed in to the CUF vibe, and there’s an unfortunately high probability they never will.

CUF rookies who come in brimming with confidence are often the targets of hazing, but that's a chance for the newcomer to demonstrate he/she can take a few shots goodnaturedly and fit in. Some don't.

With the foregoing, I’ve already devoted too much time to CUF analysis. This is an interesting place populated by a lot of good, caring people who occasionally write something stupid or unkind—in that and other ways, we’re like a family. I hope you can fit in, but many simply can’t.
