  • that's an awesome deal. i had bad luck with a refurb from cameta camera, but you can't go wrong with getting them straight from canon. just make sure to check the shutter count after you get it, pellegrino.

An SLR camera will make you enjoy taking pictures. You don't need a bunch of high end equipment to be able to take quality pictures of kids, nature, sports whatever.

For me it became addicting and I am always looking to get something bigger and better, but a base model will take lots of great pictures.

It is all about light. Cheap base, great light.

To a point, I'll take my bases with average light. Over a cheap base with great light.

We had 4 laptops all open to purchase the same Vizio on Amazon. It was a lightning deal tonight for the same $688 price. None of us got it. My sister got on the waitlist. But she's #500+ so she ain't getting it. I had auto-refresh on and clicked instantly. That thing was sold out in less than a second.

We had ticket #20 and #21 of 36. We stood in line for 2-1/2 hours. Not too bad considering that we watched people wait in line just as long for ottomans and ninjas....that were still there after we went through.

Both of my trucks have Warn winches. One is 12000 pounds and the other is 9500. The smaller truck winch also has a built in air compressor that runs pneumatic tools.

I think the 2000 pound winch is for ATV's.

Harbor Freight for a winch? nope.

Creekster is right... no cheap winches. I've freed many stuck Jeeps over the years.

I re-read this. At first I thought your discussion was about "wenches".
