Target always puts all the iPads on sale for $100 off after Thanksgiving. While everyone was rummaging for Tupperware and $10 egg mcmuffin makers, my wife easily grabbed an iPad Air for $400.

The old iPad mini with Retina ($400 two months ago) is now the iPad mini2 and it can be had for $200 at Target.

They still sell them at list price, they just bundle it with a gift card. Looks like this year's Black Friday is $140 for the full size and $100 for the mini.

Looks like they are only offering the 16G. Who buys those anyway?? If they had the 32 at least I could pull the trigger. Looks like new egg will have the 32G wifi for around $330.

I've never had a problem with having enough storage with a 16gb iPad. I dont take pictures or movies with it. To the extent I want to access docs, they're saved in a google drive.

Phones are a different story for me because I do save music and photos on them. To limited extent, an iPad for me is a business tool, but they're much more just an entertainment and web browsing device for around the house, and something to occupy kids for short periods of time.

I got the Mini w/ retina for my kids a while ago. It's 16GB, and we've never had any problem with space. If they used it for a lot of home photos/videos or stored several movies on it or something, it would likely be maxed out fairly quickly. It's been really nice to have, and the kid case is a must.

Husband and wife buy a house and live there for 40 years. Wife dies, husband remarries a 15 years younger gal. Husband dies, and he leaves house to wife #2. Wife #2 remarries. Wife #2 dies, and leaves house to her newest husband. The newest husband remarries and they are living in the same original house that neither bought or paid for, and have no idea who the original owners where, other than lady #3 didn't like lady #1's taste in furniture.
