My POAP came in the mail today. I can now begin reaping the rewards of unlimited laser tag, miniature golf, and freaky deserted Mt. Rushmore roller coaster riding. Two words: date night!

We bought them for our 1 week Provo stay last Summer and it was well worth the money. My advice would be to stay out of the Lehi place though, it's way too crowded.

Overstock.com has opened up an outlet store in Sandy, on 13th East. It is truly an outlet store- everything is open box, no money is spent on merchandising, and the workers are surly. Reminds me of DI.

Pickings are slim. However, if you find something you like, it is truly cheap. Some examples:

This set of Waterford Lismore toasting flutes, $140 on Amazon.com, is $31.

I was tempted to buy it to sell on ebay for $75.

One of those 5-in-one car chargers, battery chargers, air compressors, $27. (i bought this for my husband for $80 a month ago.)

Alternative down comforter, very high fill, twin, $15. Duvet cover, $8.

Oster rechargeable cordless twisting mixer, $29.50 on Amazon.com, $9.

Oregon Scientific Wireless Heart Rate Data Logger with PC Download, $13 on Amazon.com, $6.50. Only 50% off, but you don't have to pay shipping.

If your wife likes to scrapbook, there was a lot of different brands of computerized paper cutters, like cricut. Everything in the store is a minimum of 50% off. Lots of furniture too. 14 day return policy- keep receipt.

There is also a clearance cave, if you want to live dangerously. Name brand items in the clearance cave are non returnable and dirt cheap. I saw a 46" LED TV (2" thick), regularly $1050, selling for $212. I dont know if it was another 50% off of that price.

Does Nordstrom not offer other sizes?
