              • My youngest is at the perfect Christmas age. We opened FHE the other night with Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. He got so excited, he got up and started break dancing. It's going to be a fun Christmas.

                • I finally gave in to my wife and kids and put up outdoor lights this year. It was cold and dark on the roof, but I finished about 10:30 last night.

I ordered everything from www.1000bulbs.com, which was cheaper than Wal-mart and allowed me to buy the colors I wanted. I used C-9 bulbs in alternating green and white to go with our new house color (and so it wouldn't clash with mrskccougar's living room decor).

We get a lot of wind at our place so I'm hoping those flimsy little clips hold everything in place. As an engineer, I'm cursed to insist on straight lines for my light strings and once it snows, I'm not headed back up on the roof to straighten things out.

I was so tempted to get teh Vizio 3D TV, but my wife would be livid. Next year.

You would be fine. Plus the Weddle jersey is probably on clearance, so it wouldn't cost you much extra to get both.
