Ha...yes. Wimpy was a poor word choice.

That said, if I had a nickel for every patient who thought they had "that flesh eating bacteria", I wouldn't have to even think about Group A Strep any more.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

Ok, so I missed a dose of the amox. (didnt someone in this thread cite that as a reason for getting the shot?).

Anyhow, am I going to die because of this? I have always heard how bad it was to miss a dosage of antibiotics. Why is that? Also, do I tack on the missed dosage at the end of the run or do I simply skip that dosage and end the run as previously scheduled?

I also have almost an entire bottle of pain pills. PM me for details.

Great, now you've become the breeding ground for a new, more powerful antibiotic-resistant strain of strep.

        Thanks, 3D!
        Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I took a minor fall on a bike a month ago and dinged up my elbow pretty good. It never healed. This surprised me because I have always healed very quickly and easily. This time it turned into a very unpleasant looking mess. At my wife's urging (she grew tired of me ruining things by bleeding on them) I finally went to the doctor today and I have now been cultured from three locations (none of those, sheesh) and had blood drawn and been prescribed some sort of horse-sized pill to take 4 times daily. If it turns out that any of the cultures reveal resistant strains of bacteria I will be getting a new AB prescription. Some fun.
          PLesa excuse the tpyos.

I have noticed that antibiotics makes pee smell like antibiotics. I wonder if horse sized antibiotics make your pee smell like horse pee? (sorry folks, this is a medical thread. I'm asking in the name of science)

Given your conservative political posts, I'm not surprised to learn that you hate science.

Depends on if the antibiotic is metabolized primarily in the liver or in the kidney.
