The Chevy HHR definitely makes the list. It is the step-sister to the PT Cruiser.

In thinking about it, I dont personally know a single person that drives an HHR. I only know one person that drives a PT Cruiser.

The SLC airport rental people bestowed a red HHR upon us last May. Had we been going to a BYU game or a CUF activity, I would have insisted on something else, but as we were headed to the U commencement ceremony, I decided to roll with it. The laughter of my daughter and her BF upon our arrival did not help.

Back when I was building houses in Park City, my boss used to drive this:

Whenever he rolled up to a client's house, they would give him a hard time about it. Asking him how much of his bid was for the car. He finally got fed up and sold it and bought this:

then all his clients approved, because he drove what he "should" drive.

He laughed about it, cause the truck was more expensive than the car.

My wife was completely anti-minivan when we turned in my 1997 Chevy Tahoe under the Cash for Clunkers give away. The car we bought has been very good and it will maintain its value extremely well, but we quickly saw that it was not as ideal as a minivan when our second kid came last November. Since baby #2 is so good (our first was not, she had colic and was difficult), my wife now wants baby #3 at the end of next year.

Currently I drive a car that's a 2006 with 71k miles on it. Getting rid of this car at the end of next year with about 90k miles on it would be ideal because I probably need a bit of an upgrade for some of the professional reasons expounded on in this thread. But the fam car is not better than my car with 71k miles. And now I'm thinking that I'm going to have to unload the fam car (a 2009 model) and get a minivan, rather than just get rid of the older car and start driving the fam car.
So your wife drives a Scion xB?
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

No, but that would be improvement
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

The Boxster is the Porsche model that most appeals to women. Go figure.

I like the cayman, though, a lot.

Ah, the faded glory of Pontiac. But when it was young, Pontiac held it's own.
I prefer the 2nd generation GTOs myself - 1970 GTO Judge is my favorite.

                    Here's a 1965 GTO - a first generation - also a good choice

                    Since I haven't been able to find a 1970 GTO convertible, I have a 1969 Firebird convertible.

Here's the 1970 GTO Judge Convertible that I covet:

What from Pontiac is in production? Sorry for the thread hijack. Pontiac's faded glory is deserving of it's own thread.

I'm both delighted and shocked that my car has not been mentioned....

Toyota Corolla, baby! But, if I had to pick up a client, I'd probably beg for my brother's Porsche...

Corolla is like a Civic or Accord...practical, sensible, conservative, economic sedan. No risks there. You are safe.
