doctorcougs thread on compensation got me wondering if you had to do it over what direction would you take or what would you like to see your kids enter into? The guys that really seem to pull down some real coin are those that own a successful business. If you are a doctor you are limited to how many people you can see in a day but if you can figure out a way to have 100 people working for you making you forty bucks an hour that's not bad money and you don't even need to be there.

Entrepreneur. What type of business is not very important to me. I won't be encouraging them to spend a lot of time and money at college. I hope to have the financial ability to help set them up with partial ownership of a small business while they are young...as in high school or college age.
However, if they want to go into the hard sciences, I'll encourage college, if they are proficient at math.Comment
