I'll give this lady the benefit of the doubt and assume she was merely trying to commit insurance fraud, and not merely being just one of the worsts aunts ever.

This is a long read, but very interesting.

The part where the woman helps the severely disabled man type out "I don't care for the porn because you're way hotter than any of those actresses" would be funny if it weren't so creepy.

While this legitimately is a crime, and a bad one, I'm not convinced it requires 40 years in prison.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

A West Virginia middle school was placed on a temporary precautionary lockdown after a man walked in and demanded to sing Justin Bieber songs to students over the intercom system, according to Dunbar Police.

Police said they were tipped off on Monday that a man, who had apparently not taken his prescribed medication, wanted to come to Dunbar Middle School to sing to the students.
On Tuesday morning, police said a man entered the school and came into the main office while the morning announcements were being made. The man said he wanted to sing Justin Bieber songs to students.

She isn't really so altruistic. She isn't even considering the diabetic kids.

                    Other ideas:

                    Lik-M-Aid Fun Dip
Sugar packets from the coffee area, Sweet-N-Low if it is for a diabetics (not Stevia, I saw that kill a lady on TV once)

They absolutely do, and I almost bought some the other day. They are the closest thing to the old flavors they had in the classic conversation hearts, which have now been updated to the most disgusting flavors known to man.

She also expects everyone else to conform to her child's needs/feelings rather than look internally for a solution. I have a Type I diabetic kid who was not devastated when she couldn't eat her Halloween candy with her brothers because we were having issues with getting her blood glucose level under control. She would trade in her Halloween candy for prizes like beanie babies and other stuff. Her brothers soon figured out she was getting a pretty good deal and would offer to trade in their Halloween candy for stuff.

Hot damn good point. I assumed this is a woman without any evidence that this is the case.

That said, I'd be fine with having carrot sticks available for this poor, fragile child if he came to my home trick-or-treating, but there's no way I'm not having good candy for the other kids.
