Apparently one of the Osmonds nobody has ever heard of is a state senator and he wants to make education non-compulsory.

Sounds weird, but if someone is able to make it all the way to the Utah State Senate apparently without having been educated himself, maybe the idea's not so crazy after all.

Aaron Osmond has been very pro-education. He was able to get over 10 million dollars to be offered for early education money from private business. The legislature turned it down because it required the state to put up 5 million a year for 5 years. Sprinkles Cupcakes at the Preston Center Plaza debuted an outdoor, 24-hour cupcake ATM today.


The cakes are restocked three times a day (the ATM holds about 400 cupcakes) and flavors vary with the store’s daily baking schedule, posted online. Until July 28, the schedule includes summer cherry cupcakes and salty caramel cupcakes.


Insert your credit card, and the cupcakes exit the ATM in to-go boxes for $4, the same price in the store. Leftover cupcakes at the end of the day are donated to Metrocare Services, Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center and Catholic Charities of Dallas, where the store already donates leftover cupcakes each day from its bakery.
