I've got a neighbor who served in the old Corpus Cristi mission in Texas. He says one of the smartest things they did was start going to high school football games on Friday night. And why not? The rest of the town is already there!Originally posted by Dwight Schr-ute View PostWhat's funny is Bishop Gorman is a private Catholic high school here in Vegas. Maybe the Sisters accidentally read the sign as Bishop Mormon or maybe they've started attending high school events looking for a fight.
The Dogg's moved to town a few months ago so their son could play football for Bishop Gormon. http://m.lvsun.com/news/2014/jan/22/...ball-family-s/
He said that many people there would see them in white shirts and ties with name badges, knew they were Mormons, and assumed that they were scouts for BYU. He says they heard the rumors, and never did anything to start them but didn't necessarily go out of their way to discourage them either. But they were always honest and up front with anyone who came out and asked them about the rumors.
Parents and friends of players would come up and talk to them. Since everyone in town attended the games, they would see them there and it made it easier when they ran into them contacting. They started all kinds of conversations with people and even got invited to dinner a few times - all from attending some high school ball games.

I know, but he's too talented for the gimmick. Case in point, he sounds better than the original version of this song. She strains to hit most of those "delier" notes.Originally posted by Commando View PostI love those clown videos. I'm not sure what's more offensive about this sweatshirt. The general concept or that Urban Outfitters was charging $129 for it.

Good Lord, Urban Outfitters are morons. First, stealing independent artists' work from Etsy to mass produce and sell and now this. F*ck that store.Originally posted by Dwight Schr-ute View PostI'm not sure what's more offensive about this sweatshirt. The dude has talent, but the way that he kept fondling the balls on his shirt made me a little uncomfortable.Originally posted by wuapinmon View PostI know, but he's too talented for the gimmick.
