OK, after my lengthy threadjack, let's get back to some Apps chat.
Here is what is getting lots of run on my device as of late:
Reference
Zillow: we are on the hunt. It is a decent app, but not overly thrilled by it. Anyone using a good real estate app?
The Weather Channel: I held off for a long time because the negative reviews were loud and legion. I decided to try it anyway and I am glad I did. This is a nice looking free app. There are ads, but they are not intrusive. I think many of the complaints re: the ads were from iPhone users that did not have a large screen. I check this app a lot now. Has video, as well. Very solid.
Music
Indie 103.1: great for streaming. LA based indie station.
TuneIn radio: much thanks to Jeff Lebowski for suggesting this one. It has become one of my faves. I stream it in the car wherever I go. I almost never use my CD player anymore. I think this app cost 99 cents??? It is worth way more than that. You can get stations from all over the country. I would dare say this is a "must have" app.
Virtuoso: free piano player app. Very fun app that has actually allowed my wife to give a piano lesson to the Puffy Check. You can also have two keyboards and play them head to head, which amounts to a noisemaker for the kids. But a fun free app.
Sports
Ski Utah: free app that updates snow conditions at all the Utah resorts. Great for checking base and new snowfall within seconds. Con: formatted for iPhone.
Games
Tunnel Shoot: I mentioned this before, but worth a second shout-out. Very cool and fun app that really takes advantage of the gyroscope-thing within the iPad.
Ragdoll Blaster 2 HD: for fans of these iPad physics games, the new Ragdoll Blaster is....well...a blast.
Toy Physics: along those lines, this is another one you will likely enjoy if you like the Ragdoll Blaster series.
NinJump: simple game that the little kids enjoy playing.
Pool Bar: my seedy little secret....play head to head billiards matches (nine ball and pockets) with all sorts of unsavory characters. Options allow you to make this as challenging or easy as you want. It looked like something I would play a couple of times and then toss but it has really sucked me in.
Can Knockdown: this is basically the new iteration of paper toss. And not as good, but it is free, so check it out for a change of pace.
Infinity Blade: fantastic RPG that has stunning visuals, featured in a recent iPad commercial, and made by Utah's own Chair Studios (sub of Epic Games) using the Unreal engine. The combat is fairly easy, but the graphics alone are worth the investment. The game is fun, too, so you are definitely getting your money's worth.
I'm looking at updating my note-taking app. Currently using neu.Notes. Thinking of switching to Penultimate (99 cents?). Anybody using penultimate that can vouch?
Also, does anyone use quicklytics, the google analytics app? The reviews are mixed but, again, it is 99 cents, so might be worth a spin.
Would love suggestions for any productivity or business apps that you have enjoyed.

I think it just may be iOS making it buggy.
