After you have installed VLC, connect your iPad to your computer and then click on the iPad item in iTunes. Scroll down and you will see a list of apps that use files. Click on the VLC icon and you will see an "Add..." button appear. Click on the button and then select your files.

You can use the same process to copy over PDF files for GoodReader.

Thanks sounds simple enough. Not sure what the ipad item is, though. Is that the link that indicates that my iPad has been plugged in?

FYI, the iAnnotate app "syncs" PDF files with your laptop using a free web service program. The program for your laptop is free but the app for the iPad is $10.

          • Just downloaded jeff lebowski's radio app. It only costs 99 cents. Love it. Good call.

I am to the point where I stream almost exclusively while driving to and from work. I can't stand listening to DJ and PK in the morning and can't really get into a music station groove here. Now I can listen to Petros and Money on my drives home. Fantastic.

            • Has anyone bit the $99 bullet for MobileMe? The find my phone and or iPad seems cool but I'm not sure what other features would justify the cost. My email and calendar already sync instantly via Exchange. What else does this software do?

You get the find my iPad app free with your iPad. MobileMe is a rip off. I have to manually sync my contacts and calendar to my device...only takes a few mins, but I'm unaware of a free app to circumvent MobileMe.

Petros and Money are surprisingly good. I've been listening for about 4 months now and I actually look forward to their show after work. I can't stand Petros as a commentator, but he's very good on the show.

If you listen through am570, you get the extra local hour at the beginning of the show. You might not like it because it is all lakers and SC, but they also gave some great phone interviews.

Petros doesn't bother me as a commentator. He used to play so I find his color comments to be interesting. I know many don't like him.

That is good to know. I've been listening on 1230, but I'll make the switch.

I've just always found him to be boring when doing games for some reason, but his insight as a former player on the radio show is always interesting.

Uh, google will sync all for "free". And the "find my iPhone" is now free.

                          So...

The google solution isn't very widely used in certain professional circles. Outlook is often the norm. Im sure google is nice, though.

I like Money quite a bit. And Petros and Money are good. Petros on Fox commentating though is a bit too much. He especially rubbed me wrong during the BYU-UW game a few years back.

                              • When is Gospel Library going to update the manuals for 2011? I've got a lesson this week and no manual. I'd like to go over it sometime before walking into the class Sunday.
