I'm looking for a cheap iPad 2 with Verizon hardware that hasn't been beat up too bad. If anyone is fix'n to dump theirs for an iPad 3 let me know.

I am planning to get an iPad 3. This one looks like is worth dumping the iPad 1 for. The Verizon iPad 2 is for a gift.

If the retina display is part of the 3, the screen is going to be insane for gaming.

The iPad 3, which is expected to launch at Apple's March 7 event, might not be alone in its debut. According to one rumor, a new Apple TV set-top box could also make its debut, with the ability to stream 1080p video from iTunes, Netflix and other video services.


Currently, the Apple TV and iTunes both top out at 720p resolution video, but jumping to 1080p would not only help sell a new set-top box, but also provide higher-quality video content if Apple's next iPad gets its retina display as is also expected next week.

So I have an offer of $475 for my 32 gig iPad2 + leather smartcover. I paid $550 for the iPad at Christmas ($600 + $50 Target gift card). My MIL gave me the leather smartcover for Christmas. Should I sell and upgrade to the 3 when it drops? Should I hold out for $500 (my asking price)?

The buyer wants to buy now, so I'll be without an iPad until the new one hits the market (assuming it does).
