      Wowza.
Graphite, offer still on the table, here's your chance, Fus, to upgrade from that Saturn Ion. Those crazy nights in Wendover will never be the same.

        That's a sweet car.

Maybe when I move to, The Villages, FL, I'll hit you up.

It'd be funnier if you didn't use the first response to a google search. Del Boca Vista would've been good.

Didn't need the Google machine for that one.

            Don't hate!

I am with Fus, I am guessing most people that own G35 Sedans rarely drive them as they can just use their golf cart to get around the retirement community.

I ended up going with an 06 Impreza 2.5i. It certainly does not have the speed I was originally looking for, but I'm pretty happy with it. In the short term, I will probably throw on a cold air intake. In the future, I might do exhaust. Those two things should put it over 200hp.

It's faster than most other cheap four bangers (~170hp), but I got a good deal on it (less than $11k), and its maintenance records from its single owner were immaculate. It's got 60k on it, but was serviced literally ever 3,000 at a licensed subaru dealer. I will probably have to do a timing belt in the next year or 18 months. It's also a five speed, which I greatly prefer.

The decision between this and a year newer WRX was really tough. The turbocharged WRX had a few more miles, and was definitely the more badass version (it even had a Brembo kit). But, I didn't feel like paying the insurance for a WRX as a 20 year old male, and buying a used turbocharged engine scares the crap out of me. I think I'll be happy with the 2.5i, as it's a happy medium between the faster tuner cars and cheap, but nice, four cylinders I've looked at.

Good looking car, cam. It seems that you got a rippin' deal on it. Is it AWD? One small critique...an exhaust and a CAI will NOT give you 30 hp...especially on a naturally aspirated motor. Congrats on the new car. I love the "new car" high. I have been itching to buy a new-to-me vehicle the past few months.

it is awd, which was probably the main selling point. 30hp is probably wishful thinking

                            I need a new [Truck].

I still love the M5, but driving onto a jobsite and occasionally hauling equipment is a hassle, and quite frankly a little less than "professional" in the construction industry even if it is a BMW.

I'm not selling the M5 so this will be an "extra" vehicle. I also still don't want a car payment.

So here are the new requirements. Tell me what you would recommend:

                            <$9,000

Either a used pickup or SUV - need to be able to haul dirty equipment around.

No beater - While I don't get respect on a construction site with the BMW, I'd have the same problem with a beater truck. It has to be new enough or a model that wears it's age well enough to be presentable.

                            4-wheel or AWD.

I still want something that is fun or interesting in some way, if that's possible for a truck.
