Let me preface this with the following:

I am a softie. I cry at movies and like chick flics. I shop, cook and clean. I used to be tough, but my wife and daughters have worn me down over the years and now I am soft. Not less of a man, just gentle.

If you didn't have the Bee Gee's as your avatar that might sting.

PLU is in Spanaway? I thought it was still Tacoma.

She should have applied for UPS as well. I just saw that campus for the first time today and it is gorgeous.

          Both are very good schools.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

So what you're telling me is this could very well be a picture of your family?

Cal-Poly-SLO is a great school in many fields. I've taught a few seminars there to the architecture students, and found them to be some of the brightest design students I have met any place. The campus looks pretty good (a few terrible BYU-like buildings from the sixties), with lots of nice, brutal, concrete buildings, and SLO is just about as pretty a town and nice a community as one could hope to find. I seriously wanted to move there after my first visit.

Wrong mix. 4 girls, 3 boys. Plus no BYU.

Hey man, you wife just said "I put out a clean shirt for you for pictures." She didn't tell you what it was. Its not your fault.

I do think HFN accused me of being a closet BYu fan. Maybe I have been outed.

My SIL was a Logger. UPS does have a nice campus, and is a great school if you have parents that like to spend a lot of money on college.

Yeah but what about those ugly brown uniforms that they have to wear? With those short shorts and the brown crew socks? I know that everyone relies on UPS, especially around the holidays, but I wouldn't wish that job* on my worse enemy.

*I actually think UPS is a fine job.

Someone wants thier ass kicked. :P

We have a plan on the bearing of grandchildren....We will help her with schooling even if she gets married. But we aren't helping the husband. We will help them until a kid arrives. Because if you can financially afford a child you don't need help from mom and dad for school.

Both of my kids have known this for a long time.
