Cal-Poly-SLO is a great school in many fields. I've taught a few seminars there to the architecture students, and found them to be some of the brightest design students I have met any place. The campus looks pretty good (a few terrible BYU-like buildings from the sixties), with lots of nice, brutal, concrete buildings, and SLO is just about as pretty a town and nice a community as one could hope to find.
