I have just been informed via boardmail that CUF moderators have the ability to edit or delete whatever they feel like without notifying the offender. I was unaware of this policy.

Wasn't this kind of thing a major reason for the Exodus?

You're upset because I have edited a handful of posts in the prediction thread to conform with the script formatting? Really, after a while I just felt bad for people who couldn't tell the difference between "|" and "l".

I guess it's not policy, but I'm not aware of this happening. I usually send a PM prior to editing or deleting a post.

He is referring to a message I sent him. He is displaying remarkably poor reading comprehension. I told him that a moderator will delete material that violates our rules (and recall our rules are very minimal) without telling the offender until after the deletion. IOW, moderators do not need permission from someone that violated the rules to delete an offending post.

Isn't this Shocking? Fortunately, Lingo has now brought this to the attention of the greater body here. You may all react with outrage.
          PLesa excuse the tpyos.

It all comes down to what the mod feels. Their judgement. Sounds an awful lot like CB to me.

JL I think you should lead us in a mass exodus. This is outrageous.

Becaseu you have caught us, maybe we can use a filter that automaticaly deletes offending posts. WHy dont you tell us how to do so objectively, fasirly and without empolying any discretion by humans?

                      lol.

If it makes you feel any better, Lingo, there is always a little message at the bottom of a post indicating that it has been edited and by whom.

This is a bizarre comment. How could it not come down to a moderator's judgment, unless there were no moderation at all? And given that there are more deletions in a day on CB than there have been on CUF since its inception, your belief that it sounds an awful lot like CB is fatuous. Please, commence the exodus.

CB is a sad place. I like it much better here. I can say what I want, unless it's to talk about the scammy nature of MLM and the shame every MLMer should feel over a completely illegitimate business model that should be illegal. I'm assuming someone in a position of control here has some form of interest in this sort of scam.
