Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

Given that the name still has "Cougar" in it, we can only assume that the problem lay in the "Ute". My guess is that Lebowski got a cease and desist form one of the following:

      1. The University of Utah
      2. The Ute Indian Tribe
      3. Fred Gwynne
Cool. So what is UteFans changing their name to? YewtFans? TheOtherUFans? TheArtistFormerlyKnowAsUteFans?

Yes, I could see Larry Scott doing this and not going after UfeFans. B*turd.

      • Just a hypothesis: those upset over the name change, are actually missing old CUF. But it's not 2009 anymore, people.

In 2013 this message board has more Utes and is less focused on BYU sports than it has ever been. So I'm not sure what you mean.

LOL, I had to e-mail PAC in order to find out what happened.

I am not a fan of change and this change will make it harder for me to transistion to a Ute fan if BYU continues in the direction of the bottom 10 instead of the top 10.

The Honor Code office made us make the change.

                      • MEH, change is change. Most hate it, a few like it. The rest of us don't give a crap. It is still the same site.

                        • Question: so, what exactly is different between this site and the Church’s correlation efforts and the (supposed) heavy-handed nature with which they control the priesthood, or, administrative arm of Church?

Answer: There is no difference. Oh, sweet irony. I love correlation. Cudos to the Lebowski Bishopric errr… executive committee!
