Question. Does not the new name suggest that football is the main topic of conversation (even if that is, in fact, mostly true)? We solve lots of problems on this board, political, theological, and cosmic, as well as local. And perhaps we start a few as well.

          How about, "CougarUteCageMatch.com"?

(An added bonus with that name is that you might get some misguided traffic from match.com, which would be good for some laughs).

Be that as it may, just remember that as a wise guy once said, "when El Duderino speaks, the thinking has been done." I, for one, will be on that majestic caravan--whatever it is called--and I will not be one of those yappy, faithless dogs barking as it rolls on. Unlike some of you.

              Whoa.

Oh well, it's always been a byu board anyway. Now it's just more official.

Now that this is officially a BYU board, I feel like I am an uninvited guest crashing a house party.

I will not feel so bad for taking a stinky dump in the bathroom or taking the last 3 slices of pizza, because, hell, its not like I give a shit anymore!!

As I told ER Coug, I look forward to the name changing to "cougarwaveforum.com" when that rivalry with Pepperdine really starts heatin up.

Don't like the name change at all.

I'm not surprised many of the Cougar fans approve, but over time, how can this not affect the overall dynamic of the site?

CUF implied dual participation by both fan bases in the name of the site. The name suggested at least the basis of an equal footing.

I can't imagine I ever would have joined the site to begin with... if it would have been named Cougar Stadium.

I'm sure that's not much of a loss to many.

If I may continue the scatological imagery, the last time you guys came to Cougar Stadium you shat all over us, so this change should be seen as a move to make you feel more welcome, not less.
