I'm sorry you feel that way. And I mean that sincerely. But I find it hard to believe that the only reason you have stayed here is because the word 'ute' was slipped into the URL.

The drunk post thing was because I thought "Disneyland abider" wouldn't be something you would likely say while sober. Guess I was wrong.

You are correct. It is not about the name. I've said the old name was inartful. I think no account Venkman summed it up with the notion that this board belongs to Lebowski,which is ridiculous. Too bad that the least of them here have now defined the board (after all, three out of every four even BYU fans don't approve of the name change). Why don't you just call it NeoCougarboard? And the EC can call itself the 12 for all I care.

Someone else called it and I agree: Cougarboard 2.0.

There really isn't anything to distinguish you from it now. The acceptance of Ute fans and progressive thinking is what kept the CB dregs away.

I'll still check in from time to time, but once nice thing about the internet, is that there is always some other site.

The problem with the Board is that it's mindcrushingly boring, which is why the numbers are dwindling. Among the myriad problems are the endless threads about barely related subjects, leaving any newcomer completely in the dark.

You're not the first Ute to throw that jab since the name change. I think CB is the last thing anyone here wants this place to be. Frankly, I don't see it and it seems like nothing more than a cheap parting shot. But if you truly do feel that way, I'd appreciate it to know why so the EC could possibly address those things.
