Anything else you'd like to champion, Triplet? Maybe now's the time to get back on your Friend's Only list horse and see if we can get rid of the SE altogether!
You obviously don't understand correctly. this thread started with a question about the state of our editing functionality. There was no plea made.

Frankly, some of your behavior off the board is part of the problem.

Maybe we should get together and work through it. In the restaurant, though, not in my hotel room.

I guess you didn't hear, falafel, but it's really only safe to accept lunch invites from people that don't flirt. No wonder Triplet turned you down. Perhaps you need to tone down some of those texts!

I've tried flirting, I've tried not flirting. I've tried phone calls, I've tried messages, I've tried texting, I've tried sexting. I've tried professional visits, I've tried personal visits, I've tried late night tap-softly-on-the-window visits.

Frankly, I'm running out of options. Perhaps playing hard to get is the right way to go. Thanks, Babs.

what are you kidding? If you really want to endear yourself to Triplet, what you've gotta do is flatter him. Like start tons of threads with his name in the title, nominate him for stuff, give him an lol or two after every post. You'll win his heart in no time!!

Either that or you could always pop out of a cake on his birthday. That might could work, too.

That's something users can change on their own. The only aspect of a user's own content that he can't edit is the polls.

But speaking of user settings, is it theoretically possible to give a user infinite boardmail storage? I'm not sure why anyone would need a personal PM archive, but otoh as a librarian I hate to think of anyone having to endure omissions in such a well-preserved record.

Plus I just get annoyed when PMs bounce back.

Oh, pop out of a cake on his birthday! I was really struggling to figure out why he didn't respond when I did it in the parking garage during his lunch break.

Well, granted, being dressed up as the Oregon Duck three days after the game probably didn't help, either.

Yeah, that was a mistake. Last time I take HFN's advice on how to woo Triplet.

It wasn't a cake it was a soufflé. I had to be completely silent for hours so it wouldn't fall.

So I started messing around and found you CAN edit the thread title. If you double click real quick right next to the thread, it will open it for editing. I just did it for my BYU vs SDSU thread. It has to be done outside the post, like when you click "New Posts".
