Seriously. You guys should talk and form your own firm.

Wow, all those CUF prerequisites, and a fartiste as well. Welcome Mr. McClain. Be sure to get in on CUF's big group ride. The 2009 ride around Lake Tahoe was excellent, and we're working on even better things for next year. Keep an eye on The Bike Shop forum.

No way I'm participating in a firm with YOhio as a name partner unless I get to be one too.
Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

That would be most interesting. There are some killer rides in the San Juan mountains of Southern Colorado and one of my personal favorites is the Enchanted Circle Century that starts and ends in Red River NM riding through Taos and Angel Fire. If you feel like traveling to the great southwest, look me up.

Also, if you want some outstanding mountain biking 411 for New Mexico and Southern Colorado, I can pass on my personal experience. Some great, if unknown trails (at least to those who don't get past Moab) .

Even I don't want to be in a firm with me as a name partner!

BTW, welcome John McClain! Though I recommend caution when exercising the cranky old-man shtick. PAC, BYU71, LAUte, and creekster are very territorial.

Perhaps so, but the thing is, those of us who are cranky secretly admire others who are cranky. It is a brotherhood of sorts. Besides, I am not only cranky, I am old, ornery and crotchety as well!

I used to lurk on occasion on CougarGuard, but then it disappeared. So I was left with CougarBoard which, these days, is like mingling with the great unwashed. Then I read on CB that some of the more intelligent posters (such as yourself) were posting on this site, so I came over and decided to "out" myself.

Outstanding intro, McClain. The full genius of your thread title is somewhat lost in translation on me and likely several others too lazy to babelfish it. Care to share what it means?

Welcome. You fit the demographic quite nicely, especially because you are older than me (I think).

We will not be great friends.

                            Sorry.

See, I have actually learned basic French, so even though I understand that, it's still annoying.

                                Go figure.
