Now, I couldn’t care less about political correctness, but actually, it is a problem that Trump says these things about women. Put aside the fact that Hillary Clinton could hang this around his neck and beat him silly with it. On a more fundamental level, a real man doesn’t talk to women, or to anyone, this way. We have reached a very sad moment in the history of the conservative movement when a desperate, vulgar, juvenile brat can be hailed by the “values voter” constituency as brave and courageous because he calls women fat pigs and tells them to get on their knees. And to label such things merely “politically incorrect” is infuriatingly absurd.

Wow. That took some keen political insight. Well done.

Don't worry... Trump will be back as an independent, I'm sure.

            • Here's a lovely non-partisan analysis of the military statements from the GOP debate:

TL;DR: Not a single one of them knows his ass from a hole in the ground.

I doubt the dem candidates will do any better when their time comes, but the ignorance seems more galling from the "Fuck Yeah!" types.

              • Carly Fiorina unloads on Trump. The Twitter responses are hilarious.

Sorry about the whining, but is there something you can enable for embedded tweets to work in tapatalk? They work in tapatalk on utahby5.

I agree it would be nice. Until it happens, though, the workaround is to tap on the post, go to more, and select web view.

That is a lot quicker than the workaround I have been using. Now I feel stupid.

You mean the guy that won the debate by a mile and is leading the polls even over the Dems? Yeah, he's a non-starter. Don't worry MSNBC/Fox/Daily show will be back telling everyone what to think soon and this nightmare will be over!

                          Funny.

The loony vote is coalescing around Trump and the sane votes are dispersed among the other candidates. But when they do a poll that pits a specific republican candidate vs. a specific dem candidate, the more mainstream candidates blow Trump out of the water.

I guess I didn't realize that he was going to have to go one on one vs the republican candidates, when does that happen? His 17 point lead seems like a lot but when you point out that all the other supporters would beat him individually it makes sense.

                            • I haven't been this excited about a candidate since Ross Perot.

Here is an example of what I am talking about:

                                http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/p...rump/30102255/

Trump's strengths and his weaknesses are on display.

While he leads the GOP field, he fares the worst of seven hopefuls in hypothetical head-to-heads against former secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the leading Democratic nominee. Bush, the strongest candidate against Clinton, lags by four points nationwide, 46%-42%. Trump trails by 17 points, 51%-34%.

That's a wider margin than Florida Sen. Marco Rubio (down 6 points), former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee (8 points), Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (9 points), Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul (10 points) and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson (13 points).
