Eh, I think we do better than that, but yeah, we won't be doing anything noteworthy.

I wish I could hit fast-forward to 2015 right now. Damn, that's a long ways away.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Give me some of your 2015 koolaid, please. And by that I mean tell me what 2015 has to offer by way of playmakers and upperclassmen.

Good point. Are you trying to make me more depressed?

No, I truly was looking for some hope of relief, I wasn't being smart. I don't have my 4 year outlook mapped out like others. Boy it sure is windy up here on my office roof.

:livecoug: do we need to rename this emoticon? A loss to WSU? Wow, we aren't that bad. If Nelson is the starter then I imagine there will be more work in the offseason to prepare this team. Plus McKay and Uale graduate so there is hope

You watch. WSU has some talent. Now they have a Coach that can maximize that talent. you think 7-5 is grim, wait till 2013.

I think we have a chance to be slightly better because our defense will be very very good. Also Apo and Hoffman will be another year older. Alisa another year removed from his mission. Quezada will hopefully be healthy. We return Hansen, Brown and Reynolds the Youngest on the O-line. Falslev had a break out year. Holt and Wilson were having nice seasons before injuries. Mahina is back.

Brett Thompson is back from his mission as well. We should be very good the question is can Riley be good enough to get the ball in to the hands of our playmakers?

On the flip side, Oregon State could be better and that might not be a sure win.

I think Oregon State and Washington State are the only games in question.

Although, who knows what becomes of Utah. Some departures on defense could leave Utah vulnerable and the QB situation is and could remain a mess through next season.

BYU could conceivably win all of those games. Hell, maybe they pick off Georgia Tech. It won't be the first time BYU has seen the triple option.

Boise State's going to have a new QB. They don't do well against running QBs. (See Nevada) You could even do the inconceivable there.

I think you lose the ND game at ND.

Why is the Utah game a loss? It should be a win because Riley will be the QB for the entire game.

Yes the playmakers are nice and have potential and we will beat the WAC again. One more year for brown is equal to how many pounds on his gut? Holt and Wilson will not be at full strength to make an impact, that is my guess. ACL year two is 100%.
Defense will keep us in games and I don't judge this really on the talent of the players. I am judging it on the track record of our coaches.

I just think that in order for BYU to be great, we have to have a great QB. There are other teams around the country that can be great without great QB play, but we can't. Independent of other considerations, we have to be great at QB before anything else. Our next shot at having a truly great QB is in 2015 when Hill is a Jr.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I think it's just too hard for him to transfer at this point w/o the RS available.
