I hate Boise and hope they lose for reasons I don't care to get into at this point.

I'm happy to cheer against them with the reasoning that the worse they are, the less the blue field is on ESPN.

This game is the antithesis of last year's Utah vs. TCU. Props to the Frogs for shutting down the Potato Zoobs in the Poinsettia.

The MWC is much closer to the power conferences than it is to the WAC. The current WAC is essentially the old Big West. And the bottom 2/3 of that conference is Sun Belt quality. The bottom 2/3 of the MWC still sometimes beats Tennessee, Arizona State and Colorado.

#10 team in the country shouldn't be giving up this many points to a team that appears to have the worst starting QB in div. 1.

Things I learned from watching this game:

1. Flying through the air and spearing the QB with your helmet will get you no penalty.
2. Simultaneous posession of a pass goes to the offense, even if the offensive player only posesses 10% of the ball.
3. Strip the ball AND fall on it, boys, strip AND fall
4. Pat Hill is starting to look like his FIL.

Pat Hill looks like a catfish, and while I hate Boise, they're a damn good team. Their defense dominates, and their offense is fun to watch.

I can't figure out why the MWC hasn't invited Boise yet. They would be a great addition. Boot Wyoming, add Boise.
