I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

OU 56 BYU 35
I think OU is going to jump out early, maybe 21-0, and then the scoring will be even from there. BYU is going to score some points but won't be able to slow OU down enough to treaten. If BYU can get an early turnover and March down the field and avoid turning the ball over, it could be a game though it is hard for me to see BYU getting enough breaks to win. I think a lot of people will come away from the game feeling like BYU was "competitive" though the score may not reflect it. IOW, OU won't be in a different universe, but will be awfully good and will keep pouring it on.

And we're just the guys to do it!!!Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View PostTripletDaddy's right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons--that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.

You've heard to beware of Greeks bearing gifts? Around here it's beware of blue-jerseyed mid-majors from the intermountain west.Originally posted by nikuman View PostOn a serious note, Babs, is there any trepidation or angst going into the BYU game? Here you are, taking on a ranked prominent mid-major again, and your last two times (Boise State and TCU) haven't gone very well. Is there an undercurrent of fear?
I'm not sure fear is accurate, but among the lesser-informed fans, there's definitely some nervousness. Just yesterday I wasflirtingtalking with the college guys that sit behind me at church, and they were saying how the game was a "bad idea." ("BYU is ranked 18th, you know.")

Why would you two divorce in 2013. I think that might be the year when both of your efforts to get gay marriage adopted in California finally is realized.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostAnd we're just the guys to do it!!!
