Zach Wilson makes it official. He’s gone.

His biggest issue will be getting a team to buy in. I think he can develop into an NFL receiver if he can get teams to commit to keeping him on the roster/practice squad.

I wish he would’ve stuck around, but I can’t fault a kid for wanting to take on the next chapter of his life and especially with his best friend also declaring early. I tend to agree with most of the board’s assessment of Dax’ prospects at the next level, but it’s hard to argue against him consistently beating the odds up until this point. He’s a kid BYU didn’t feel was worthy of a scholarship, yet he turned himself into one of the best receivers in the nation by year 3; at least in terms of actual production. I’ll be cheering for him to beat the odds again.

I love Dax and wish him the best but, like others, I'm skeptical he can be successful in the NFL. I would love to see him prove my skepticism wrong.
