I like to think of Taysom like, with giant Eagles wings and singin’ lead vocals for Lynyrd Skynyrd with an Angel Band, and I’m in the front row, and I’m hammered drunk.

Sure, Taysom is fast. Faster than Edelman in a straight line race. But Edelman’s success comes from being quick laterally—shifty. There is just no way Taysom is going to be able to do what Edelman does in the slot. Taysom rarely makes anyone miss: Edelman makes a living off of it.

A more accurate comparison (but still not perfect) is Will Fuller or maybe Alston Jeffrey. Fast in a straight line. Tall. Strong. But not going to make anyone miss on a 2 yard curl route.
Hmmm. Yeah, I don’t see Taysom as Alshon at all, but I think you make a good point that he’s not laterally quick like Edelman. I just imagine Taysom being a high possession receiver and letting his power and speed do the rest to pick up YAC. I don’t see him catching 50-80 balls on the outside like a Fuller/Jeffry, though. Maybe I’m being short sighted, I just don’t see that as a role he’d thrive in.

I disagree that it has any bearing on a discussion of Milne’s NFL prospects.

You mean like Cole Beasley, Scotty Miller, Hunter Renfrow, Adam Humphries, Andy Isabella, Cooper Kupp,

And that is just the racist eye test

Actually I agree I don’t think he projects as an NFL guy but if his draft workouts show some unexpected quickness in the three cone and shuttle he might have a chance because his hands are top notch.

Earlier this year I thought that he could be like Hunter Renfrow. But then I realized I only think that because they are both white. I really have no idea how they compare otherwise.

Turns out Dax is 3 inches taller but only 5 pounds heavier.

One of the commentators used this comparison a couple games back, and it seemed like a really good one to me. I wonder how much luck it takes to end up in the right situation though.

Different angles than the typical TV angle sometimes shows just how incredible ZW's throws can be. 2. Tuiaki's defense looks better.
This is the big regret I have from this season, so I'm jealous. If he finds a home at the next level, I'll have to go watch him play sometime.

Maybe. Look what he did last night underneath. That's Baylor Romney's bread and butter.
