Let's have a friendly bet. If BYU doesn't lose Hall, Unga, Jacobsen or Pita before the game starts, I will take BYU and the 21 for $200. Are you on?

We can cut out the middle guy.

If SU doesn't take this bet, I will 71. I am not optimistic about this game. It still boggles my mind that almost every OU player that would have been picked high in the draft decided to stick around. Bradford, Gresham, Williams- these are all likely first round draft picks.

Then they have nine starters coming back on defense and BYU is breaking in 3-4 new o linemen.

First game of the season, everyone will be healthy for OU and they will have had weeks to prepare for this game. This does not look like it will be a close game.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I like the idea of hiring Crowton to draw up a gameplan for the first game of every season. He could beat Oklahoma with 9 months to prepare for it.

$200 is my limit of confidence I have in BYU keeping it at 21 or less. I probably should have asked for the 40 from SU he predicted.

Let's see how much of the $200 SU wants.

I will not put myself in the position of rooting against an MWC team playing Oklahoma.
