Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Update on my club football team: Due to some internal strife among coaches, I was promoted to head coach (asked to take over the team because I was the peacemaker). Too many egos laying claim to the provincial championship in the fall created the conflict.
The way our club football leagues work is we are a AAA team (top tier). There is two lower divisions AA, and A. The AA division provincial championship team wanted a game. We initially said we did not think it was a good idea. They insisted. They had not lost game in two seasons. They have dominated the AA division and were contemplating a move to AAA.
We beat them 71 - 8.
We did not run up the score. We played all 58 of our players throughout the game, starting to sub kids in mid-way through the first quarter. We are just that much better than them—the gap between AAA and AA at this age can be significant. The boys I mentioned in an earlier post played very well (obviously). I will be sending film to BYU coaches.
