I absolutely hate that. Arriving at your home airport at the end of your mission is one of life's most sacred moments. It should be reserved to family.
I get that there are sharks in the water hoping to get him to transfer out. (One picture even has Spencer Fano, recent Utah commit, in the background.) And I know Utah coaches have greeted players, especially transfer-sensitive ones, at the airport. Maybe this is just the way the world works now. Thank you. This place can be so toxic. Sometimes like a cult. If he transferred from BYU, it must mean he's crappy and desperate. He was the 109th ranked recruit in the nation in 2019. Maybe he was looking for an upgrade. Honestly, I have never thought of returning from a mission as sacred. I was just excited to get back to normal life. Friends and family had posters and clapped and cheered. It was great.Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.
