1320 is reporting Koa is out indefinitely. They are not sure what this means and coach Whit is not sharing much.
Backs are never good IMO and especially for Koa who plays a position that hits as much as it does will not help in the recovery efforts.
This won't hurt them against Utah St. or SJSU but once you get past those 2 games the Utes really need him."Take it to the Bank"

The report on UteZone was back spasms. I can relate with how painful that can be. Ouch! Hopefully a few weeks off will help. Unfortunately, if he misses a game or 2 the odds of Fotu redshirting drops to nil.Originally posted by Hot Lunch View Post1320 is reporting Koa is out indefinitely. If he did not progress well with his knee injury there was talk that would happen. He is reported to be visible limping at times after practice. Given what I know of the nature of his injury, a RS year wouldn't be a bad thing. If Aiono(sp?) had qualified, I think it would have been a forgone conclusion that he would RS.Originally posted by Hot Lunch View PostWas that the plans with Nai? Looks like Aiono not qualifying could have an impact on the Utes.Originally posted by Jarid in Cedar View PostIf he did not progress well with his knee injury there was talk that would happen. Definitely.Originally posted by Hot Lunch View PostLooks like Aiono not qualifying could have an impact on the Utes.
Misi could probably take 2 weeks off of practice and be ok to play, but you can't guarantee that. I was down 10 days when my back spasmed. It was nasty."The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."

Tender feelings. It's too bad. He could have made a move and turned out well. I think his pride was hurt a bit too much to hang around.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostSo Louks transfers to Nevada and will play............Safety!
Good call Corbin! Utah has 2 senior safeties, but instead you chose to go to the powerhouse that is Nevada-Reno."The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."

This is actually funny, and I do not hate you now. (Indeed, I never hated you, despite Utah Dan's cynical attempts to turn us against each other. That man bears watching)Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostSo Louks transfers to Nevada and will play............Safety!
