Hey Mr. Buzzkill. Nobody is claiming that Tennessee is a great SEC team this year and yeah they probably won't win a ton of games. But it was fun to pull off a miraculous last-second win on the road in front of 92K people. Just relax and enjoy it.

Hey Mr. Buzzkill. Nobody is claiming that Tennessee is a great SEC team this year and yeah they probably won't win a ton of games. But it was fun to pull off a miraculous last-second win on the road in front of 92K people. Just relax and enjoy it.

I did enjoy it. My original comment was from before the game was played, downplaying the negativity around how we couldn't win and we were somehow huge underdogs or something. It was a fun game.

the line was 3 points, so it will be considered a very mild upset at the time using that standard. Emotionally, any road win at an SEC team feels like a bigger upset, of course.

My point was that looking into the future, when all is said and done it's not going to be considered an upset if Tennessee only has 2 or 3 wins this year. I suspected that this was going to end up being the type of game where it would have eventually made us look really bad at the end of the year if we didn't win. Obviously I hope Tennessee turns out to be much better than that.

Only 28 yards, exactly. The ball was on the 19, the pass went from the 19 to the Tennessee 44 (actually from about the 10 with the drop back), and then he ran to the 16. So the pass was 36 yards (about 45 in the air), and the run was 28 yards. = 64 yards total.

I assume the corner thought the safety would pick up Simon, so he let him go. Simon made a nice move after catching the ball, makng the safery miss and allowing him to pick 30-40 yards to put us into FG range.
