Take Me to Another Place: BYU vs Tennessee

I didn't see any inside the stadium, but did see a guy in a red "Fuck (block U)" t-shirt walking away from the stadium across the Tennessee River bridge as we were in traffic. I assumed it was a uofutah fan and there was a small b and y to the left of the block U.

Utah fanbase is nuts.Originally posted by imanihonjin View PostAmazing game and an amazing atmosphere at the game. So good to celebrate with Cougar fans on the road.
I have been to dozens of away games and the streak of seeing multiple Ute fans decked out in Ute gear at a BYU road game remains intact and has occurred at every single one. On CB someone mentioned that it was curious that nobody observed someone at the game in Florida gear......well, I did the dude had a Florida Gators shirt and a Utes hat. Not surprised a Ute would spend his hard earned cash and, more importantly, his time on a glorious Saturday afternoon filled with a number of other good CFB football games to watch, to troll two other fan bases that he probably claims to care nothing for.

In the stadium, as the play developed, I was pointing at Bushman because he was so open. I figured he was so open because they were keeping everything in front of them. When Zach let it fly, I was thinking "Oh no, he missed a wide open Bushman!" only to immediately see that Simon was even wider open. Glad i'm not the QB and Zach Wilson is.

I'm also glad we had a QB who could make the throw and a WR to catch and run. Think Riley overthrowing Hoffman at ND. We could be debating how far Simon might have run had he caught it.Originally posted by Green Monstah View PostThanks. Man, I don't know how you let that happen, but I'm glad they did.

wilson had better be exceptional for a true freshman since he's truly a sophomore.Originally posted by cowboy View PostA couple of thoughts from a non-expert:
1) Wilson is good by any measure, and exceptional for a true freshman. I was impressed by his arm, but amazed by his poise under late-game pressure. He made some mistakes, but TN rightly identified him as vulnerable, and threw everything they could at him. He literally threw it right back in their face, and made them pay.
2) That last TD run was nothing but smash mouth and guts. BYU just flat out pushed the Vols the last two yards. I hope they remember what they can do, now that they've proved it to themselves, and don't get too lazy to keep doing it.
3) Good things happen when Sister Wilson prays.
