SU's making me want to root against Utah.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

      Don't shoot the messenger, hermano.

It isn't like I am the only person that thinks the MWC is small-time.

Enjoy the bowl game against the 5th place PAC10 team!

        How it plays out:

TCU hands Boise their 1st loss by 7-10 pt margin.

Bama hands Utah their 1st loss and covers the early 11pt. line.

I still don't know what to make of the BYU/AZ game. This is the kind of game where I can easily see Anae getting outschemed again,,,,,,but I'm hoping otherwise.

Also AZ is avg 37ppg this year. More than BYU. Their offense doesn't suck like it has in the past.

I'm getting upset stomach feelings about the AZ game. Not a lot of incentive for BYU to get pumped up, lots of reasons for them to play in a lull.

Sounds like you picking Tide to win by 2 TDs or more?

BSU/TCU will be a good match up. TCU is fast but BSU beat a very quick UO team. If you haven't seen BSU play this year watch their QB Moore who is a red shirt freshman and very good. Ian Johnson is still there but they have two other backs that are also good. I don't think they will have any problem scoring, the problem will come from keeping TCU from scoring about 50 points. The weakest part with BSU is their D line and the LB's. If the over/under is 100 points you may want to look at taking the over. Also Peterson does a great job preparing this team to play.

If you'll pardon the pun I think the Tide rolls.

I do think early on Utah will have a punchers chance IF.....IF they can get on the board early, but I think Bama is just too dominant in the trenches and I just don't see how Utah is gonna move the ball and score on them. BJ is no Tim Tebow.

Bama's Special Teams are every bit as good as Utah's. They have one of the premier returners in the nation.

Last year Georgia was only a 9pt favorite and if I actually did bet at Vegas or wherever I would've put a ton of money on that because it was just too easy. While the Bama/Utah game isn't as big of a mismatch as that game was,,,,I still take Bama and the early line.

I think Utah's Dline...Kruger and Misi are about to get knocked on their ass. Just my opinion.

I'm also getting the same bad feeling about our bowl game that you are. I'm worried that BYU isn't going to come out and play with any incentive or emotion and end up getting rolled.

Hey when you've got the great Santos pontificating on sports one's ceiling for learning is limited.

I am excited to see Alabama do things to Utah.

TCU wins in a scrappy battle. 27-21.

                        BYU wins by a gajillion.

Utah and BYU compete in the same space for limited resources, i.e. Utah/LDS football recruits and fans. The battle we share in fighting for national respect is arguably a lesser concern.

I'm not sure how i want their game to go. In my gut I like KW and I think it will be hard to cheer against him in a BCS game.

I want to steal the Big East's auto bid. I think Utah winning can only help. It would be a huge win for the MWC and hopefully help all of our schools with recruiting. It would be fun to see the MWC as strong as it's been this season for the next several years.

I think that during the "re-evaluation" period, the Big East's bid will go to the highest ranked team of a pool of conferences, Big East, MWC, WAC, CUSA, MAC. That way, they can get rid of the top 12 rule and pacify both the big and small conferences.

We also may be headed to a system based soley on rankings...but I think that will only come with a playoff, and I would get rid of the autobids. If you keep the autobids, then you've got to mandate that each conference have a championship game.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
